Short Films Directed by Adelaide Burrows
Through her short films, Adelaide seeks to tell the small stories that speak to the shared human experience of every viewer. She hopes that her audience can find comfort in her stories, understanding that we are all brought together in our humanity and the stories we tell.
"Call Me When You Get There" is a short coming-of-age drama that Burrows created as her thesis project at Loyola Marymount University. She wrote, directed, and edited this project. It premiered at the American Independent Film Festival in 2024.
"Visiting" is a short documentary directed and edited by Burrows in Bonn, Germany showcasing the various people that frequent a local German cemetery. "Visiting" won Best Picture at the LMU Bonn Film Festival and premiered in 2023 at Festival Angelica.
